I will forewarn you, BE CAREFUL!! I lost every thing when I did it. If you use the templates blogger yas, your safe... but some of the others wipe out every ting except for your posts and your abou tme. I had all kinds of fun restoring all that! -mindy
Yeah, I tried to change mine after I saw Kate's and I lost everything. I was SOOOOO bummed. I just somehow stumbled across my old one, so now I am too afraid to try again...
Before messing too much with your blog be sure to save a back up to your computer.
With most templates that you install you will loose some of your widgets on the side. (You can copy your widget code and reinstall it, or simply make note of all the widgets you have and then replace them after you've saved your new template.)
Blogger lets you experiment with your blog templates... while editing your blog html just hit "preview" and it will let you see what your blog would potentially look like... if you don't like the look then don't click save and your old blog template remains in tact.
You could do what I do - just do it, hit save and hope for the best! ha It usually works out! lol If it doesn't, Kris said he would help. Just don't blame the mess up on me! =)
