Built in 1863, the Star of India is the oldest iron hulled merchant ship still sailing. And I got to stay overnight on it! Helping to chaperon a fourth grade field-trip with my good pal Nathan was a great experience for many reasons, and I'm sure I'll get around to writing about some of them when I'm not so exhausted.
